Not repaired (Again)

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9343285.

Report 8407643 has been closed after recent update added that showed holes that were originally for repair have been once again missed during the 2 day closure.

9067729 has also been closed.

A new report raised on 9301829 was linked to 8407643 with a completion date of 13/5 and this has now also been closed with no further repairs.

There remains holes and broken surfaces outside 23 Bective Road NN2 which were originally marked yellow for repair but due to the length of time to action this the yellow has worn away.

I feel somebody is playing games with these reports and repairs as reports are being closed without the work actually being carried out.

This further issue has been added to my complaint being drafted for the ombudsman.

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - We have assessed the location and we can confirm that the defect meets the requirement for a Priority 4 repair. We will schedule a repair to be completed within 26 weeks.

  • Can you advise how this has been set for 26 weeks when it was scheduled to be repaired when the road was closed for 2 days? A complaint was raised and you advised these holes would be repaired by 13/5/26!!!!!

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found) - The reported defects was inspected and found to fall within the categorisation for a Priority 4 repair inline with the Highways Inspection Manual. We currently have an expected completion date of 25/06/26.
