Low level heavy (roof tiles) left for several days on public higway.

Reported via mobile in the Building materials category anonymously at 18:14, Wednesday 22 April 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9338240.

Low level heavy (roof tiles) left on public highway causing danger and obstruction to vehicles. First spotted on 21/04/2026. Construction materials left on a public road or highway constitute a "nuisance" or "danger" and are likely illegal without a specific permit. I have not seen a permit for these. Under the Highways Act 1980, it is an offence to obstruct free passage along a highway. It has been confirmed that these are for builders working for house Number 4 Maple Road, Bristol. Due to these construction materials being low level, heavyweight with no cones, no signs and no highlight strips around them they are difficult to see from a vehicle - especially at night. As a result, my car was damaged when leaving the parking space on 22/06/2026. I'm concerned other vehicles may have been or could get damaged. Can you confirm the next steps. Kind Regards.
