Half moon of concrete manhole cover sticking out into road still. This caused me to have 2 new tyres at considerable cost in June and it still is not fixed.

The half moon concrete manhole cover caused two tyres on my Land Rover Discovery to burst after being forced over by a lorry to the edge of the road at just 20 MPH on Monday 6th. June at 9am. £300 later and having had to call for the AA, I reported this to a parish councillor. The road was then relaid in the summer holidays and it still wasn't fixed. The road is now further worn away due to rain and the sugar beet lorries. It is the end of November and still I have received no word from the Highways or council as to when my repair bill is going to be paid. The amount of speeding traffic on the Hingham Road is going to fully expose this hazard and more tyres will burst.
