Lanes need repainting urgently

Everyday I walk over the footbridge by the Roundabout on Swindon Road (by McDonalds) Every day people are blasting their horns at each other from cutting each other up / poor lane discipline / driving too fast. One thing that may improve this is repainting the lines which are almost non-existent in some places on the Kings Hill side of the roundabout.
I've lived in Cirencester for 6 months (I've been a road/car user for 18 years) and it must be the most dangerous roundabout I've encountered for the above reasons.
I'd suggest the roundabout would benefit a lot from traffic light control (like the newly profiled roundabout by Love Lane / Watermoor Way). People would probably be less wound up trying to drive around it too fast and recklessly if they *knew* their turn was coming, eventually. (It's a busy roundabout most times of the day, so it seems people feel like they have to accelerate and maintain a fast pace the whole time).
An immediate / quick fix that should help drivers is repainting the lines.
I'm not exaggerating when I say people are on their horns every time I walk past this roundabout. And I only walk past it for a minute or two at any given point in the day (so it must happen excessively).
Hopefully this is taken seriously (I've finally said something as my partner has just taken a photo of a crash at the exact spot I'm talking about). So before more people are involved in a RTC at a clear hotspot, I'd politely suggest action is taken.

If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
