Road surface failure
Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 16:38, Sunday 19 April 2026
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9318958.
This area of road has been treacherous for months. It’s been reported several times but NO ACTION has been taken. Even 4WD cars are having to drive through this patch at a crawl. The junction poorly lit here so people will hit it and their car will be damaged. This is negligent of you.

The potholes on this junction are appalling. The road surface is completely broken up and scattered with potholes. It is in desperate need of repair. This started in December and gets worse by the day. URGENT repair required.

The road surface here is completely broken up. There are 4x4 cars slowing to a crawl turning off the A44 because the surface is so bad. This has been around for months and months, and it has been marked for repair several times this year alone but nothing has happened. The road surface here is completely unsuitable and needs to be repaired soon before it causes a serious accident.

One of the worst junctions I have ever seen. I almost dropped my motorcycle due to the severe loss of footing!

The holes were marked with white paint - presumably to indicate they need fixing - that was fine so long ago the white paint is wearing off! Still not fixed.
