Overcrowded parking, making crossing the road harder

The area of Observatory Road by the junction with Christchurch road has recently become overcrowded with cars, specifically lots of large vans being parked for long periods up to and on the give way white markings for the junction. This is making it hard to cross this road as a pedestrian, and hard to pull out of the junction in a vehicle. Lots of these vans do not move for weeks on end. This has been going on for the last 6 weeks
