The incident occurred on 8 April 2026 at approximately 10:45am while travelling along Sundblad Avenue. Our vehicle struck a large pothole in the carriageway which resulted in two tyre punctures, rendering the vehicle unsafe to continue driving. As a direct consequence of this defect in the highway, both tyres had to be replaced at a total cost of £261. The incident also caused significant disruption to a planned family day out at Cotswold Wildlife Park and required time arranging recovery and replacement tyres.
