Deep pothole getting bigger is a danger to cars and cyclists

I witnessed a young cyclist who was riding along the road watching out for a car that was following her and she hit said pothole and fell off in front of the car. She wasn’t injured but it could have been a lot worse. To prevent this happening again this needs to be fixed asap.
