Blocked drain causing flooding
Reported in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 09:37, Tue 22 November 2016 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bristol City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 930844.
The drain at the bottom of Claremont Street in Easton Bristol is blocked. There road is impassable whenever it rains as the water settles on road with no where to go. This has been like this for several years. You have to wade in ankle deep water to get to your home which is unacceptable

A year on from this report first being made and the issue has still not been resolved. If anything, I would say it has gotten worse. Walking past the effected area earlier today after a downpour of rain the road was completely flooded. I did not appreciate having to wade through the water, nor would I imagine the motorists who had their cars parked there appreciated having to wade through the water either.

It appears that this drain has since been unblocked, judging on the factor that after recent rainfall there has since not been any flooding here.
