The whole stretch of the road from Churston Cross to Windy Corner is in a very poor and exceptionally dangerous state for both vehicles and cyclists.

The road surface on both sides of the road for the full length from Churston Cross to Windy Corner is litter with potholes, dropped surfaces and increasingly I am seeing vehicles swerving around potholes and dips to avoid them despite oncoming traffic.
As a regular cyclist I now avoid this road as it is too dangerous to ride safely in a sensible position on the road.
