On my way home I noticed a van parked ahead with its side and rear doors open! A car was coming towards me with an elderly lady inside. I can tell she wanted to tell e something. We wound down our windows for her to confirm my thoughts that they were Fly Tipping! So I got my phone out to take pictures! This is becoming a problem area for fly tipping!

  • This has been passed to our Highways Team, who will carry out an inspection and arrange for the appropriate action to be taken.

    Our priority is clearing the obstruction on the public highway to make it safe; this may mean that the fly tip is moved to the side of the road for a period of time before safe removal is arranged.

    Please be assured we will come back and clear it as soon as possible.
