People dumping rubbish next to the dog waste box

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 13:03, Wednesday 15 April 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9297786.

People continue to dump their rubbish here . The council has not emptied the dog waste box for a while . They used to pick up the occasional dumped bag , but I imagine they don't want to come while the travellers are there , as they may be asked to take even more rubbish . I assume that the travellers don't contribute to council tax .

  • It's the travellers who are flytipping in this area and around the bin, and no they don't contribute to any taxes, hence why they park illegally on land they don't own. It's a disgrace that the council are doing absolutely nothing about it.

  • The amount of rubbish continues to grow . The travellers have been gone for a while now , but the rubbish is still there . Refuse lorries continually pass , but it would seem that no-one has the authority to stop and clear up the mess .
