Road safety concern

Sent to Halton Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9292395.

I’d like to report a road safety concern regarding the roadside memorial on Halton Lodge Avenue which has been there 6 months now.

It is located on the grassed area between the traffic light junction and the busway exit.

Vehicles are slowing down or braking as they approach it, which is creating a hazard at a point where buses are pulling out onto the road.

Given that the original incident relating to this memorial involved a bus at this location, I’m concerned this distraction significantly increases the risk of another serious accident.

Could this please be reviewed urgently from a road safety perspective?
