Old Manilla Street sign missing

Reported in the Street nameplates category anonymously at 07:59, Fri 18 November 2016

Sent to Tower Hamlets Borough Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 928841.

The original Manilla Street (E14) sign has been missing since the refurbishment of the Hope and Anchor pub into flats earlier this year. The space where the sign was originally positioned can clearly be seen on the brickwork on the side of the old pub. The location is the junction between Manilla Street and the Westferry Road. This was a historic cast iron sign I believe and should be located and replaced as soon as possible please as it is part of the integrity of this historic building. Thank you.

  • Manila Street sign still missing. Over 3 months from first reporting this to Tower Hamlets council. Perhaps Cherryman Lettings are able to locate the missing sign as the developer removed it during renovations in 2016?
