Flytipping on Council land

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 15:16, Friday 10 April 2026

Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9271945.

Attached, just a small sample of the rubbish that's been thrown into the area near Lowfield Road 37-91 - the wooden buildings backing on to the graveyard.

(This is by the path running from Lowfiend Road to Woods Road)

This area, fenced off all around, is Council owned - and Council-created. They made it when the built the wooden buildings area but have done nothing about looking after it since. Lots of people have to walk by this every day, including lots of families on the way to Micklands School.

I've reported it directly to the Council before, but nothing was done. Can someone please try and tackle it - as it is only getting worse with every passing month.

Thank you.
