Severe vegetation encroachment on public footpath
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category anonymously at 17:36, Thursday 9 April 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 days, 18 hours, 55 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 9266648.
This footpath is about half the intended width in some places, that I can see, due to years of soil build up and vegetation growth. This restriction forces pedestrians inches from the 40mph traffic and, if passing other people, may force you into the carriageway itself. I don’t have photos as I spotted the issue whilst driving down this section of road.
