Tree shedding branches

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9264834.

Large tree shedding branches onto footpath and smaller tree needs shoots and suckers pruning. Footpath is crumbling with grass growing in clumps (trip hazard for elderly people who live here). Thanks.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. I have visited the location and assessed the trees. The trees are on land not deemed to be part of the highway maintainable at public expense and therefore, Oxfordshire County Council do not have responsibility for the trees as local highway authority. I believe the tree may be the responsibility of the Carterton Town Council and therefore you should contact them directly to pursue this enquiry further.  The report will now be closed on Fix My Street.
