Children Climbing Bank of old buttresses - Antisocial behaviour

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 15:40, Sun 13 November 2016

Sent to Norfolk County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 926426.

Hi,

Several years ago, somebody from the highways depot at Caister arranged for a small fence to be erected on the bank on burgh road with an aim to stop children climbing on the bank. This worked but we have had children climbing on the bushes that surround the top of the bridge buttresses. We have been in contact wth the police who have been out and spoke with the children. This has happened 3 times over the last 3 days. There is over a 20ft drop into our garden from the top of the bush.

Also, A few weeks ago, children had thrown stones from the bank at a neighbours dog and their conservatory, damaging the roof.

This bank and passageway around the area has long since been an issue for the residents of the Buntings and we need to seriously look at finding a resolution before somebody falls and hurt themselves or more damage to property.
