Failure to Repond to Repair Requests
Reported via mobile in the Pothole on a road - More than 150mm wide and more than 40mm deep category anonymously at 00:03, Thursday 9 April 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Please would you explain why, many weeks after your visit to Barfields in Bletchingley - accompanied by the now-infamous orange spray paint - only selected portions of the numerous trenches and craters that continue to litter our road have been identified for repair?
It is, frankly, impossible to understand the rationale behind a process that leaves entire sections of damage unmarked for repair, despite being only inches away from areas you have marked. Equally incomprehensible is the decision to repair only parts of longer damaged stretches, as though the remaining potholes and craters somehow cease to pose a risk simply because they fall beyond the made-up ‘that’ll do for this stretch’ limits of your rationale. There is absolutely no logic to it.
I would also be grateful for an explanation as to why, despite the numerous and repeated reports submitted through your website, residents are still waiting for your return to carry out the necessary repairs.
