Overgrown Hedge causing danger to mobility scooters and wheelchairs

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Road/Pavement) category anonymously at 11:43, Wednesday 8 April 2026

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2887701.

Theee is a dropped kerb on the corner of Mount Street and Woburn Avenue and with the hedge growing over the pavement the change in gradient caused a mobility scooter to tip over into the road. (We saw this). Husband also has an electric wheelchair which also suddenly veered to the road. If the hedge was cut back to property boundary there would be enough room to use the pavement to go round the corner safely.
