This yellow box does not comply with TSRGD 2016 or the Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 5 section 8.3.2: " A half‑box on the side of the road opposite a T‑junction generally serves no useful purpose. Even though it will create a gap in a queue of traffic, drivers turning right from the minor road will not be able to enter the box as the exit will be obstructed."
