Tree root pushing up concrete pavement outside house number 194 staveley road hu9 4ua

Reported via mobile in the Trees category by Daniel Kay at 02:44, Sunday 5 April 2026

Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9240744.

Tree root is pushing up the public concrete pavement outside property of 194 staveley road hu9 4ua . This is a potential trip hazard to the elderly residents who live on the street and use this public footpath. Also is a hazard to anyone using mobility scooters as this could potentially tip the scooter over while in use. This has been reported 4 times now since beginning of December 2025. With the council advising that someone will come and assess within 5 working days and send the report of the assessment and action to be taken. This has not happened. The only contact Hull city Council has made was after the 3rd time it was reported, i received a phone call from them advising me to cut it myself. Which I asked " how am I supposed to do that the tree root is under the concrete ".
