Multiple downed trees across bridleway
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9237317.
There were several trees, some downed naturally and some looking purposefully chopped/placed over the expanse of the path. These trees were located near both entrance/exits of the grove and also in the middle. The worst one is the other end of the grove to my map report and to get through you need to either walk up the hill under/over barbed wire to go around (I fear the wire signified private area where footfall shouldn’t go) or under the tree that had fallen (which my party did but one got injured by it as it’s a tight fit) this path is impossible for horses to get through and very difficult for walkers of any kind. The trees looked like they had been in this position for a while by the growth around them and on them.

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
