Tree is damaged problem

Reported in the Tree is damaged category by Gloucestershire County Council at 21:46, Tuesday 10 March 2026

FixMyStreet ref: 9229290.

The issue below was reported in Sep 2018 and we were told nothing would be done as it wasn't a priority. We assume that this is still the situation, so we now need to arrange to have the trees & bushes cut back ourselves. A large buddleia is protruding into the lane and the residents opposite have been cutting large branches off and leaving them on the verge. The trees and bushes are also overhanging our garden. The tree maintenance company we have contacted have asked us to confirm that highways have given permission for the work. Please can you confirm either that you will arrange to cut back the overhanging trees and bushes (in the next few weeks) or that you give us permission to carry out the work ourselves.
