Garden waste service inefficiencies

The garden waste subscription service has been inactive, preventing residents from subscribing prior to its commencement on April 1st. Consequently, there is a waiting period of up to 10 business days to receive the necessary collection sticker, resulting in a loss of the initial ten days of paid service. Furthermore, as of April 1st, the payment system for subscriptions is currently experiencing technical difficulties, precluding the completion of payments.

It is noted that Lewisham's subscription fees are among the highest in London boroughs, comparable to those in more affluent areas such as Hammersmith and Fulham, Islington, and Ealing, and notably exceeding those in Richmond.
