Dip in tarmac road in front of dropped kerb leading to driveway.

Reported via desktop in the Depression in road category anonymously at 15:57, Tuesday 31 March 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9219951.

Roadworks have recently been undertaken on the road directly in front of my property, including works around the dropped kerb. As I entered my driveway, my vehicle encountered a significant dip in the tarmac at the point where the road meets the dropped kerb.

Due to this uneven and hazardous surface, my vehicle’s front bumper struck the kerb and was forcibly torn from the vehicle. This has resulted in substantial damage, requiring repair/replacement.

I believe this damage has been caused by:

Poor workmanship and/or inadequate reinstatement of the road surface following works; and/or Failure to ensure the area was safe for normal vehicle access to residential driveways.
