Saplings and ivy overgrown

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 07:29, Thu 3 November 2016

Sent to Halton Borough Council 1 minute later

The planted area at the top of Portland street is getting out of hand again. The saplings need uprooting and the ivy cutting back and sprayed with weedkiller. One of the neighbours has dumped grass clippings and other garden waste near my wall and this is piling up compromising my security. The ivy invades my garden amd I've had to get somebody to cut it back. As ive not got a green bin I've had to leave it on the council's side. This problem is ongoing.

  • Still waiting. The ivy is over the top of my wall and the roots will be causing damage. I hope HBC is saving up to foot the bill for the wall repair. It's been 11 months since I reported this issue.

  • The saplings have been cut down but the ivy is worse than ever. I posted this complaint in November 2016 and it hasn't been resolved yet.
