Temporary traffic light nightmare Copers Cope/Bridge Road
Reported in the Faulty street light category anonymously at 08:49, Wed 2 November 2016 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 921299.
The temporary traffic lights that have been installed at the junction with Copers Cope Road and Bridge Road are causing severe traffic problems with huge tailbacks along both lengths of Copers Cope Road, Brackley Road, and Park Road. As a resident of Copers Cope Road it is now virtually impossible to leave or get to my house by car as the surrounding roads are either closed for works or blocked with traffic.

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral
