Blocked road drain, damaged pavement & mess
Reported via desktop in the Blocked category anonymously at 12:19, Friday 27 March 2026
Sent to Enfield Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9198111.
Recent work carried out at 54 Chase Green Avenue, EN2, appears to have led to a burst water pipe and severe pavement damage. Concrete/cement slurry also appears to have flowed down the road and blocked the road drain / gully. No work appears to have been done at the site since - except for a visit from TW personnel to repair the burst pipe.

Still open, via questionnaire -
The two road drain grilles are still completely blocked. It is now 30.05.26 and still nothing has been done to unblock these two road drainage outlets from the accumulation of builder's cement and debris.

Still open, via questionnaire -
The two affected road gullies / drain outlets that had been blocked by mess from the builders working at No.54 were cleared yesterday by a council team. The wrecked pavement in front of No. 54 remains the same.
The blockages may happen again if the builder doesn't take more care.
