Barrier hit again, causing further damage
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9195881.
The barrier at the end/beginning of the PROW on London Rd. Moreton in Marsh, directly opposite Evenlode Road. The damage is caused by the trailers of articulated vehicles, swinging as they turn right, from London Rd. into Evenlode Rd., especially when a vehicle is parked on the nearside of the junction close to London Rd. The barrier needs to be replaced with a chicane, situated within the PROW, as considered years ago, but not completed due to lack of funding.

If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
