  • I see that the repair has gone over its 28 day schedule once again, As I ride this road on a moterbike I am very disappointed as my safety does not appear to come before repair or cost. VERY DISAPPOINTED

  • Investigation: Completed (Defect Found), Defect Repair: To be Rescheduled - Thank you for your enquiry. We are aware of the issues on this road and have identified it as a potential candidate for a future resurfacing scheme.
Due to the road’s proximity to the A45 and surrounding businesses and facilities, carrying out permanent repairs is challenging, as this would require a full road closure. A closure of this nature is complicated further by the weight restriction on the bridge near Cogenhoe. We will continue to ensure the road remains safe by completing permanent repairs where possible. Where permanent repairs cannot be undertaken, we will carry out semi-permanent work and continue to monitor the condition of the road
