White lining and cats eyes need replacing
Reported via iOS in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 19:19, Mon 24 October 2016
Sent to Norfolk County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 916882.
PLEASE SEE NOTE AT THE BOTTOM:
Westbound on the A47 where the dual carriageway starts, up to the slip road turn off to Tuddenham has really poor/ virtually non existent white lining between the two lanes which makes it very difficult to distinguish the lanes in the wet or if there's a covering of snow. The cats eyes here also seem to have been removed or are damaged so also don't work in the dark.
Ok, I shall report this again as fix my street sends this to Norfolk County Council and not the highways agency who deals with this road. It will again go to NCC but might I suggest that this time NCC doesn't just give me an email address and forward it directly to them themselves, which might be more sensible.

Thank you for contacting the Highways England Contact Centre about the road markings on the A47. Your enquiry has been passed to me for reply. Amey is Highways England's Asset Support Contractor for the East of England with responsibility for managing and maintaining trunk roads and motorways on their behalf.
I can confirm that a recent road marking survey has been carried out on the A47 highlighting many locations requiring road marking refurbishment.
A delivery programme has been developed to refurbish the road markings at the locations highlighted and the location you have mentioned is included in this programme.
Unfortunately I am not able to provide a delivery date for the road marking refurbishment at this location at present.
