A413 between Whittlebury and Lillingstone Lovell

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9167231.

There are road closed signs at exit of Whittlebury and further along, including at junction with Wicken and Deanshanger Rd, where people are turning round in middle of road. A413 is not in fact closed. Further along towards Lillingstone L there are traffic light warning signs, then at the roadworks site there is one side of road clear, no traffic lights, and barriers around work on northbound side of road. Confused drivers coming other way asking if road is actually closed

  • The Highway Officer will attend the site plotted on the map and make arrangements for the unauthorised sign to be removed.

    As part of our highway management strategy, unauthorised signs will be removed from the highway, removal will be prioritised according to highway safety, resource requirements and the interests of the community. The Council may exercise their discretion not to enforce in some situations (e.g., small scale charity events).

    These signs will be held for 28 days and there will be a storage fee of the unauthorised signs that do not comply with this policy where applicable.
