10-12 inch pothole at the Downend Road end of Springfield Avenue, close to number 2 Springfield Avenue.

Reported via desktop in the Pothole large category anonymously at 02:34, Monday 23 March 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9166524.

Some roadworks were carried out to patch up Springfield Avenue, in Horfield. This was in February. I seem to remember.

During this repair, a large hole mysteriously appeared on the pavement and this has never been repaired.

This hole is significant, 10 to 12 inches and maybe one and half inches deep, and dangerous to pedestrians and needs to be repaired as soon as possible.

It is at the top of Springfield Avenue, near Downend Road, close to number 2, opposite the post box.
