Oxford Street/Sherbourne Street - Gloucestershire Highways dumping equipment - urgent please

Reported via desktop in the Signs, barriers or materials left by contractor category anonymously at 10:19, Friday 20 March 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9152838.

Dear here to help,

Gloucestershire Highways have been working in Oxford Street at the Bus Depot. On Tuesday 17th March they dumped their no longer needed equipment on the grass verge opposite, right on top of the daffodils that were lovingly planted to brighten the area and our neighbourhood.

This is so unprofessional, so disrespectful, so irresponsible and certainly not public spirited.

They should be removed before the weekend because revelers will have a field day with these. They should be kept within the bus depot car park until collection is possible.

Last year GH used the same place to dump a large amount of soil/broken concrete and heavy metal railings. Why are they doing this? Can someone please speak to G Highways.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
