Bin men....... again!!!

I am writing to raise a formal concern regarding the conduct of your bin collection crews.

On a regular basis, bins are being left in the middle of the footpath after collection. This creates a clear obstruction and, at times, makes it extremely difficult, and in some cases impossible, for pedestrians, particularly those with prams or wheelchairs, to pass safely.

Residents are expected to present their bins in a safe and considerate manner, and any failure to do so is often quickly challenged. It is therefore only reasonable to expect the same level of care and responsibility from your staff when returning bins after collection.

This ongoing issue is unacceptable and needs to be addressed. I would ask that you raise this with your crews as a matter of urgency and ensure bins are returned to an appropriate and safe position moving forward.
