Temporary fix with cold tar lasted about 24 hours

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Rosie Pearson at 15:04, Wednesday 18 March 2026

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9137052.

I'm reporting this as a new problem because it was previously reported ( ENQ261077442) and was filled with cold tar on 10 March, but began to open up again within a couple of days. I spoke to the team when they were here, and they said the material they had on board was a new kind of cold tar, and they were interested to see how well it did as a temporary fix. I would suggest they come back and take a look, and try to work out how it could have lasted a bit longer.

I'm interested to know, too, why the previous report still says "Scheduled for Action". Is that because it is now scheduled for a more permanent fix, or is it just because nobody marked it has having been attended to?
