Severe pothole on Siemens St, south side of carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 16:27, Saturday 14 March 2026

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9107127.

On 14 March 2026 at approximately 10:24 AM, I hit a large pothole on Siemens St (near the south kerb). I was travelling at 23 mph. The impact was severe enough to cause my dashboard camera to cut out, and my vehicle has been making abnormal sounds from the steering and suspension since. The pothole was not marked or signed. I have dashcam footage with GPS coordinates, speed and timestamp.

Updates

  • This has been reported several times, a repair was made but clearly not good enough as it’s worse than ever.

  • 2 weeks later, these are still there, as bad as ever. They are massive, each several feet across. See photo.
