While driving near postcode G33 4EF on Edinburgh Road in Glasgow, my vehicle struck a damaged section of the road at the edge of the pedestrian refuge. The road surface is broken and has formed a deep pothole where the brick paving meets the asphalt. Because it was dark and the pothole was filled with water, it was not visible while driving. My tyre burst after hitting this defect, causing damage that required repair.

The pothole at this location is hazardous to vehicles. The asphalt has broken away from the brick paving, forming a deep hole that is hard to see, especially at night or when filled with water. It poses a real risk to drivers, and in my case, it caused my tyre to burst, resulting in repair costs.
