All the drains in Oxford Road slip road are blocked

These drains have not been cleaned out in September 2025 as stated. There are always parked cars when they come so they don’t bother.

    Blocked road drains are being blamed for the flooding in Bens Close Woodstock. Flooding has happened 3 times in 18 months - Sept 24, Nov 25 and Feb 26. Parked cars are not an acceptable excuse for OCC to avoid their responsibility for keeping drains unblocked. Given that there are also blocked drains outside the primary school in Shipton Road - which OCC say were unblocked on 25 Aug 2025 - how many other drains in Woodstock remain blocked because OCC cant be bothered about people's homes being flooded. I hope that the response to the initial complaint about these particular blocked drains (given the out of hours timing) is not an automated response. Please accept the sense of anger in this seemingly innocuous advice
