Road sign reattached the wrong way

Reported via mobile in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 09:18, Tuesday 10 March 2026

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9078190.

20mph sign had been knocked over and has been reattached in the last few days, however it’s been fitted the wrong way round. Sign on the left should be facing into Arthur Road to warn that you exiting a 30mph into a 20mph zone (Shakespeare Road). As you can see from the picture the two signs give conflicting information! There was previously a 30mph sign on the other side of the pole, but this is now missing.
