Deep pothole on the A4260 while travelling towards Over Worton, located at N 51.9626, W -1.4691, causing tyre sidewall and alloy damage.

There is a severe pothole on the left-hand side of the carriageway at this location on the A4260, on the approach towards Over Worton. The road is narrow here, with oncoming traffic preventing safe avoidance, and the verge is soft and waterlogged, making it unsafe to move further left. The defect is deep enough to cause immediate tyre and wheel damage, as confirmed by dashcam footage showing the moment of impact. The pothole sits directly in the normal line of travel and presents a significant hazard to other road users. It does not appear to be marked, coned, or repaired.
