Three piece suite abandoned
Reported anonymously at 06:26, Fri 30 September 2016
Sent to Brighton and Hove City Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 904655.
A cream leather three piece suite has been wandering around Ewehurst Road for months. It was dumped on the pavement for weeks. For the past few weeks the suite has been lifted up onto the front wall of a rented house. I assume someone got fed up with it blocking the pavement and has dumped it back in the garden. It's an absolute eyesore and against HMO license rules. Please sort it before it end up back on the pavement.

The cream sofa sits proudly on top of the wall of 19 Ewehurst Road and has been there for about 6 Months. It was on the pavement blocking the pavement. This is probably a HMO and the issue should be referred to licensing as these homes are often leaving furniture piled up. I shall email the council's chief executive with pix to show the lack of enforcement.

The sofa has almost been sat there for a year. The council is failing to enforce its HMO regulations. It's an absolute eyesore and now other lets in the area are dumping furniture onto gardens.

This property is listed on the council's HMO register. The owner lives in Hove and should be made to tidy this property.
