These signs have been here for years, imitating official road signs. Furthermore, the official road signs are so worn out that the speed limit is barely legible on one. My car reads it as a 20 zone and alerts me (unnecessarily) that I am speeding.
The last thing we need is another 20 zone, please can these signs be removed?

Just to add that another one of the speed limit signs is hand written, since the numbers wore off. Goes some way to show the neglect of Oxfordshire's roads and apparent contempt for their users.

Somebody has clearly painted over these signs with white paint to remove official ones.

Is the speed limit even legally enforcible when the signs are completely unreadable?
