Public footpath between Heighington Road and Glebe End.

Hedges and shrubs from properties either side of the path are overgrown narrowing the pathway making it difficult for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the current levels of hedge outgrowth, such as they may interfere with path use, are not the result of a growth spurt in recent weeks but have been many months in their development. Seeking enforced hedge control at the start of the bird nesting season may influence the enforcement demands that can responsibly be placed on residents at this time. Our published service standard for achieving the resolution of minor obstruction, as may be developing here, is to do so within 6 months of their reporting. Thank you for reporting this matter.
