Rubbish service obviously if it hasn't been done. I feel sorry for the poor mothers with pushchairs who have to go on the road!!

Apologies for the confusion. The shrub bed in question is the responsibility of the resident of Arnold Close and not SBC. I reported this to Herts CC who are responsible for keeping paths clear and have the enforcement powers to have them cleared.

It is nine months since this was reported and it has got worse - I now need to walk on the road with our baby in her pram and this extremely dangerous. Can someone please take responsibility for this?

This obstruction is on the opposite side of the road from the Arnold Close turning (so not the responsibility of the Arnold Close resident, the marker is on the wrong side of the road). The hedge in question is also Pyracantha, very prickly and dangerous. It is now nearly a year since it was first reported.

It is now over a year since this was first reported (and it had been a problem for some time before that). As a previous poster said: Please can someone take responsibility as this is now almost unpassable.

This was reported to HCC earlier this year under reference number 201012812709. On 31/8/17 HCC replied: "We have assessed your report and the location is considered safe." It seems neither Stevenage or Hertfordshire authorities will take on responsibility for this long-standing problem.
