New cycle path covered in grit and gravel

Reported via desktop in the Uneven surface category anonymously at 10:10, Tuesday 3 March 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9035306.

The newly created pedestrian and cycle path along the Portway needs sweeping. It is covered in gravel and debris (presumably from the roadworks), causing issues for cyclists ( puncture/skid risk, also uncomfortable to cycle on). It only seems to be the few hundred metres going NW from the traffic lights at Bridge Vally Rd.
