The pothole team were there last week but instead of tarmac the stretch of road, they only filled the chosen few that meet the criteria. Total madness . Why not tarmac the entire stretch, repair it completely in one visit rather than multiple trips. Surely this isnt cost effective .

Sunday 22.03.2025 Still as the above. This is a pot hole in a pedestrian walkway as well a road. Difficult to do but people do not fix as easily as cars. So maybe top priority?

I hit this one yesterday heading into Banbury. Its just passed the traffic lights. It’s well hidden, as you approach Banbury, so you only know about it when you get the sickening thud. Can’t have been doing more than 20mph and yet it’s damaged my tyre - bulge in the side of the tyre wall indicating serious structural failure. RAC have advised it’s a full replacement because can’t be replaced. I’ve barely done 2k miles on this tyre and now it has to be junked.
This is my 3rd tyre replacement in 2 months in this area (double-puncture outside Chipping Norton in Feb) and my 5th since 2021- all due to potholes. Also buckled a wheel near Broughton Castle with one of the aforementioned punctures.
This was originally reported back in early March by another contributor. Over a month later it’s still there and causing damage.
