HUGE pothole in the road

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9027537.

This hole is getting worse by the day, and I have seen many cars hit it as it is almost unavoidable to miss unless you drive on the other side of road. This is not always possible when cars are coming from the other direction. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

  • This pothole is getting bigger. It has been "actioned to be fixed" for so long that warning paint around it is fading

    This is getting ridiculous now! The first image was the one reported to you on the 8th February! And the second, how it looks today (which doesn't even do the size of it any justice) You say "actioned to be fixed" but coming upto 2 months later and still nothing. It is such a huge crater in such a dangerous place.

  • OCC have posted that action is scheduled for this pothole, following investigation. This was in March. Please tell us when the action is scheduled for, so I do not have to keep avoiding this road.

  • 8th of April and this has still not been fixed. This should be marked as an urgent repair, it will cause an accident.

    Its not just the original big pothole that need repairing but now the utility filled trench across the junction is also failing and will need doing at the same time. Why is it taking so long to fix this road, I’ve seen buses and articulated lorries trying to avoid these holes.
