The carriageway surface at this location is uneven with failed patching and developing potholes across a significant portion of the lane. The irregular surface creates instability for cyclists and motorcyclists and increases the risk of loss of control for vehicles, particularly when manoeuvring around parked cars or in wet conditions.
Inspection and proper surface reinstatement would be preferable to further temporary patch repairs.
